RADMan
is a "front-end" for
NOAA weather RADAR images that are freely
available on the World Wide Web. Download the application file by clicking on the link
above and save it to your desktop. Double click on the RADMan icon and the
install routine starts. Follow the directions to install RADMan
on your computer. After installation, run the program by selecting it from
Start/Programs/RADMan/RADMan. In the Programs menu.
After downloading the initial
ten RADAR images,
the Map window opens and displays a map of the Orange County, Florida area from
the Melbourne, FL RADAR
station.
RADMan will check the
NOAA website for new RADAR
images every sixty seconds (user changeable) and
will add it to the Map collection when available. New images are available
approximately every six
or ten minutes depending on weather.
You must be connected to
the internet to use this software. It has been tested on XP and 2000 with
the latest service packs.
